How to set up Digital Servicebook in FTZ Plus
The connection is created once under Administration, and then you transfer a service to the car's history with one click directly from the invoice.
This guide is for workshops that use FTZ Plus. There are two things to do: the connection is established once, and then you transfer each service from the invoice with one click.
It must be in place first
- An active Digital Servicebook account. FTZ Plus says it itself on the setup page: the connection cannot be created without one. If you do not have an account yet, it must be created first.
- Access to the Administration in FTZ Plus.
How to connect, once
- Go to Administration and select Integrations from the menu on the left.
- Select the Digital Servicebook tab. It is located on the far right of the tabs.
- Enter the Username and Password for your Digital Servicebook account and click Connect.
FTZ Plus itself writes that the login information is not saved and that it is only used to make the connection once. After that, the two systems are connected, and you do not have to enter Administration again.
How to transfer a service
- Open the invoice that the service belongs to.
- Click Links in the menu bar above the invoice and select Transfer to Digital Service Book.
- A green receipt will appear in the bottom corner with the text Added to the Service Book. The service is now on the car.
The transfer is therefore done per invoice and not automatically. On the other hand, it is one click, and it can be done in the same workflow as closing the case.
Remember the mileage
The invoice is the source of the transfer, so what is written in the KM condition field is what ends up in the car's history. If the field is empty or incorrect when you transfer, the mileage is missing from the history, and it is this that is used to see if the service intervals have been met.
You can always register directly with us
The integration is a shortcut and not a prerequisite. The service can always be created directly in Digital Servicebook via the website or app. The connection to FTZ Plus exists solely to save you from typing the same thing in two places.
Afterwards
The service is located on the vehicle in the Digital Servicebook, where the car owner can see it.
If the service is also to be uploaded to the OE platforms, it is set up in the Digital Servicebook with the OE Upload service. This is a setting with us and not in FTZ Plus.
If you experience problems getting the integration to work, please contact us.
