We collect the car's digital information so it can be used

We cover the car's digital history all the way around: service and repairs from the workshops, data from the car manufacturers' own service books, and integrations to the industry's systems. Collected on the vehicle, so the information can be used in all the contexts a car comes through. And it's all available to the car owner.

360 degrees on the car's digital history

Not just service inspections

General service, repairs after damage, tire change and wheel storage. The work that is carried out on the car is registered with the date, mileage, what was done and by whom, and appendices can be attached to the individual registration.

Linked to the VIN not to the license plate

The registrations hang on the car's chassis number, which is the vehicle's actual identification and does not change. Therefore, the history is not broken by new number plates, by a change of ownership or by the car crossing a border. You can still look up the car on the number plate, because that is what most people have at hand.

To find again

As a car owner, dealer or fleet manager, you can search and filter the registrations so that you find the period, the vehicle or the type of work you are looking for, without reading through the entire history.

Three ways in, and none of them require duplication of work

If you use one of the workshop systems we integrate with, you enter the service once. It lands on the vehicle in the same workflow, without anyone having to enter another system afterwards.

If you do not have a garage management system at all, we offer Easy Upload. You put Digital Servicebook as BCC on the invoice you send to the customer anyway, and we create the service based on the invoice. You do not have to log in or type anything.

The service can always be registered manually via the website or app. And if it is also to be in the car manufacturer's own service book, we offer OE Upload, which will send it on on your behalf and in your own name, so that it is listed as your work.

OE Upload can be turned on automatically on all uploads. Then no one has to remember it on a case-by-case basis, and every service is up to date both with us and with the car manufacturer.

Because the information belongs to the VIN and not to a system, it can be used again in contexts that did not exist when it was written. This is also why we build on it: the mileage log, technical metrics such as the state of the battery and telematics data are under development.

OE Upload

Documentation that holds, black and white

Once the service has been registered, OE Upload can send it on to the car manufacturer's own digital service book, so that it is in both places.

It is an option, and it requires the car owner's consent. On the other hand, the service is where a brand workshop also looks.

Calculated on five services a day for twenty working days a month, and at the low end of the time a double registration costs.

Good to know

Your factory warranty also applies to independent workshops — it has been EU law since 20101. The only requirement is that the work is documented correctly2.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a digital service book?

It is the car's service and repair history registered digitally and linked to the vehicle rather than to a booklet or to the individual workshop's system. Each registration has the date, mileage, what was done and who did it, and appendices can be attached. Because it belongs to the car, it is included when changing workshops and when changing ownership.

Does it work on all car brands?

Registration of service can be done regardless of car make, and the Digital Service Book meets the requirements for an original service book. This is a different thing than which manufacturers' own service books can be written to with OE Upload, where the coverage is a selected list that is continuously expanded.

How long does it take to register a service?

Less than a minute. This can be done manually via the website or app, and in the most common workshop systems with one click, because service data is then transferred directly instead of having to be re-entered.

Do we need a specific workshop system to be able to use it?

No. If your system is among the integrated, such as FTZ+, Keyloop, Helios, DBR and au2parts, the service is entered once instead of two, and the list is continuously expanded. If you do not have a garage management system, you can use Easy Upload: set Digital Servicebook as BCC on the invoice you send to the customer, and the service is created from the invoice without you having to log in or type anything. The service can also be registered manually via the website or app.

What is OE Upload?

An option that forwards the registered service to the car manufacturer's own digital service book, so that it is in both places. It can be turned on automatically on all uploads, so that all service is updated without anyone having to remember it on a case-by-case basis. It requires a valid subscription, a signed authorization, a registered user account with the manufacturer in question and the car owner's consent. The current coverage is stated at the time of registration.

Does the car owner retain the factory warranty at a free workshop?

Yes. The factory warranty requires that the service is carried out according to the manufacturer's regulations, with approved spare parts and oil, and that it is documented correctly. It does not require which workshop performs the work. It has been EU law since 2010.

Which countries can use it?

The solution is built on the car's chassis number, so a vehicle can be added wherever it is registered. Some features, including OE Upload, have coverage that varies from market to market.

What does it take to get started?

As a car owner, you can create a user and add the car without a subscription. Garages take out a subscription, and the terms for it are stated when registering. Options such as OE Upload are settled separately.

Can I see the history of a car I'm considering buying?

Yes. You buy a service certificate on the car's number plate or chassis number, and then you can see the registered service, mileage and any gaps in maintenance before the money changes hands. This is a different thing from your own car's history, which you have access to yourself.

Contact

Should we show it on a car you know?

A lookup on a specific vehicle says more than a feature list. Write or call, and we'll take it from there.
