What is OE Upload?
Dating back to 2005, many car makers have launched online service portals to replace paper service books as the preferred place for workshops to register service. This was a natural step in the digitalization that swept the industry and was a great way for OE workshops to stay updated on the service history of a car.
However, the launch of many different OE portals also meant an increase in complexity for independent workshops to keep up with compliancy, service registration processes, and maintaining access. This is one of the main reasons we created OE Upload.
How does OE Upload work?
OE Upload is an add-on to our existing Pro and OE Pro packages. With this add-on, the workshops may opt for also having a service registered in the corresponding OE portal, when a service is registered as usual in Digital Servicebook. In essence, OE Upload means a workshop gets a simple and streamlined process for registering service in Digital Servicebook AND OE portals at the same time – regardless of car brand. Check out the simple process for using OE Upload:
1. Register service
Include all relevant data to make sure service documentation lives up to requirements.
2. Tick "Upload to OE"
Select the option to also upload service data to the corresponding OE portal.
3. Await confirmation
You will be notified in the service plan overview once data has been uploaded.
Why should I use OE Upload?
Our platform is a one-stop solution for service registration, which gives workshops an overview of service history while maintaining factory warranty. As an added bonus, car owners get free access to this data, which is often hard to access or inaccessible digitally if service is only registered in OE portals.
FAQ
OE Upload allows Digital Servicebook to upload service data on behalf of your workshop. Once subscribed to OE Upload, you will get the option to upload to OE portals alongside your normal service registration in Digital Servicebook.
With Digital Servicebook’s OE Upload it is possible to upload service data to the following OE portals: Audi, BMW, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes, SEAT, Skoda, Toyota, Volkswagen.
OE Upload has a fixed setup fee and after that you pay per service uploaded to OE, but it is a small price to pay compared to the time saved, which can be used to service more customers. Our system keeps track of how much you have used OE Upload and you are billed monthly.
