Digital Servicebook has entered into a new collaboration with Hella Gutmann. Workshops that fill out the service form in Hella Gutmann's macsData can now have the completed form automatically transferred to Digital Servicebook. The service thus becomes part of the car's service history, without anyone having to enter it again.
On to the manufacturer's digital service portal
If the service is also to be registered on the manufacturer's digital service portal, it can be set up under Settings in the workshop's Digital Servicebook account. Then the service goes from macsData to the Digital Servicebook and from there on to the manufacturer's digital service portal in one go.
What the workshop gets out of it
- Simple digital documentation of service performed
- Automatic migration from macsData
- Less manual work and double entry
- More options to save and share vehicle service history
How the workshop works integration
The integration requires that the workshop subscribes to both macsData and Digital Servicebook. The setup is done once in macsData by a user with administrator rights, and then the service is transferred automatically. Our guide shows step by step how to set up Digital Servicebook in macsData. Hella Gutmann helps with the setup in macsData, and if you have any questions about Digital Servicebook, you are welcome to contact us.
With Hella Gutmann, yet another of the workshops' regular suppliers gets a direct way into the Digital Servicebook. The basic idea behind all the integrations is the same: the service is registered where the work is done, and the history belongs to the car, regardless of which system the workshop works in.
